Since our club applies to veterans and motorcycles you might want to post on the site where the general public can see it that TN now offers Purple Heart License Plates for motorcycles. The best part is that now all Purple Heart plates are Smile FREE. I saw on line when I was about to renew my bike plates that they had a Purple Heart plate. When I went to get it, I was told it was the first one to be issued (Jan 2nd). That is when I found out there is no cost. Zilch! I just signed a paper stating that I had received the plate. It is the same for other vehicles which are eligible for MC or automotive tags. Some Purple Heart recipients have chosen not to display a tag but the cost may be an incentive now. You might want to reword this in a condensed form before posting as information. Thanks again for all you do.
